Special Events & Development Specialist - Junior Achievement Greater Seattle/Tacoma Region

Develops and implements strategy and tasks for designated special events. Secures participants, donors, sponsorships and in-kind donations, as well as ensures the efficient operation of the special event. In collaboration with leadership and other staff, manages fundraising events at day of event, registration procedures, recruitment of volunteers, data entry into organizational databases, peer-to-peer fundraising websites, marketing, advertising and promotion efforts to increase event donations and participation. Contributes ideas for the development of event programming through the collaboration with other staff. Meets established annual fund-raising targets.

Program Coordinator - Junior Achievement Greater Seattle/Tacoma Region

Facilitates and manages daily operations of JA programs within geographic region, assures all administrative procedures are implemented, volunteers are secured and trained, and programs verified. The position also increases public awareness for all programs, identifies funding opportunities, assures program quality and expansion, maintains strong school relations, and develops yearly planning calendar for programs.

Special Events Intern

Location: Greater Seattle/Tacoma Metro Area

The Special Events Intern is a vital part of the events team in organizing and planning all JA fundraising events, including but not limited to auctions, golf classics, bowling events and other fundraisers. This position will build on the success and track record of well-branded events, as well as assist in the cultivation of new supporters to the organization. A successful candidate will have strong relationship-building, organizational and computer skills.
